Thank you for all of your prayers!
I don't have much time, but I wanted everyone to know that the surgery was successful. It was a "day surgery", so they let us leave the hospital almost as soon as Robbie woke up from the anesthetic. It has been an overwhelming week for all involved and we are all very tired. Robbie is on a myriad of medication for pain, bladder spasms, and antibiotics for preemptive measures. He requires 3-5 baths daily, but seems to be in great spirits! He really is a strong and resilient boy! We all love him so much and pray that the healing process will go smoothly. When I have a few more moments, I will write more. Again thank you all for your prayers!

I am grateful for the way you and Dylan negotiated this week. You are good parents and your children look up to you and learn constantly from you. Robbie's happy little spirit is the result of both of you pushing through your own pains to concentrate on his needs. Rachael's intelligence and spunk are a reflection of time and love invested in her. My prayer is that healing will continue for each member of your family as you continue your journey, and that Robbie will not need another corrective surgery.
